Is this how it's supposed to work

Beitragvon aposner » 19. Okt 2013, 01:32

Hi. I'm new to Spamii.

Is the following behavior to be expected:

I'm using IMAP. If Spamii receives an email that it finds is not spam, it sends it on to my client immediately. If I correct it i.e. mark it spam, then I hit learn, it goes to the recycle bin as I would expect.

However the spam email stays on my client even after reconnecting with SPAMI. As I'm using IMAP shouldn't it be automatically deleted from the client?

Am I doing something wrong is that that's supposed to be what happens?

Please excuse me for answering so late, aposner!

I have thought over this twice, and I think this is correct. Spamihilator wouldn't recall a mail once delivered as non-spam. (A historical functionality, when Spamihilator didn't want to go into the mail-client.)
