A blessed event

Beitragvon BlackWinny » 1. Dez 2008, 01:00

Hello everyone !

:D Woah ! A blessed event ! Don't you think so ?

Bild

What appened at november 12th ???

Have you observed the same, everyone, in your Spamihilator statistics ?

I think something very important has occured that day (november 12th) somewhere in USA!!! It's not a new filter from an ISP... because I have two ISP. Impossible to them to enact the same filter the same day... I don't believe in happenstances.

Have you informations about an event which occured that day ?

Best regards to all.

Hi Quellcore!

Oh great !!!

What an excellent news ! Beeing a humble user in France I didn't know about it.

And the result of this action against that bad ISP is spectacular !

Let's hope new similar actions against such other delictuous hosting platforms as that one ! An awesome benefit for all the users all around the world !

Hello BlackWinny and Quellcore,

but the spammers surely will keep on and instead concentrate on virus contaminated bot nets, I guess.

Hi Chactory!

Yes, it's a certitude.

And yet I think we may applause for such an event. It's a cat among the pigeons. And it reveals that these bots are really tracked, despite the very hard technicality to investigate and the astronomical cost to find and destroy them. But sometimes fortune makes good things, as the perspicacity of this journalist. It's a real cancer to eradicate. And it's certain that these perverse bots will have to engage more and more energy to act, and probably in others countries, less and less with the time... so perhaps one day easier to neutralize.

I've looked for and found other fresh news today :

And an excellent permanent monitor :
  1. http://marshal.com/trace/spam_statistics.asp

Surely you know these informations yet (for me it's new, as everybody I'm victim of monster spamming but I didn't know anything technical about that)... But I think it's good to relay them here.

Unfortunately I don't read german, so I discover today that phenomenon essentially by the english part of Spamihilator forum, really a good tool to live rather quiet !
:D

Hello everybody !

It seems that a new event happened last month... Have you heard something about ?

A sudden division by two since the 8th of october !

I point out that the antispam of my provider (Wanadoo) has always been voluntarily deactivated, cause I don't trust in it (countless false positives... and the contrary), preferring let all my spams be managed locally... by Spamihilator.

All the best for everyone !
