ok understand, but by Everything there is also a portable version.

I just looked up again about this issue.
Microsoft no longer supports in Windows 8 msvcp120.dll

Since this file is not included in 32bit Spamihilator, you would have to do it copy manually into the base directory of Spamihilator portable or into "c: / Windows / System32"

I had msvcp120.dll also re-install at startup of Windows 8.
There are a few other programs that use the C runtime.

Hmm ... odd ... but when I testwise change it, it would show english prompts: [attachment=1]sh-pers-1.png[/attachment][attachment=0]sh-pers-2.png[/attachment]

Excuse me for asking, but have you uninstalled by uninstalling Spamihilator 32-bit completely and removing any spamihilator directory from the harddisk? Ok, probably, however it works now?

Thanks for your link. However i try to install as little as possible and i use portable apps almost exclusively. BTW As a new user of Windows 8.1 I'm somewhat impressed by search capability of the default search facility--no need to add more.

I would install everything (http://www.voidtools.com/) and thus seek to msvcp120.dll.
If in other directories as in "c: / Windows / System32" another version, then this error can occur. Note: in SysWOW64 should be a copy.

[b]Chactory[/b] -- That last post was by me. I am not sure why it logged me out--maybe I was taking too long to get my thoughts in order.

[b]renato[/b] -- actually I think it identifies that the 32 bit version might not run under Windows 8.1 64bit? From my very limited knowledge of this error I think it is a file normally provide by the MS C++ redistributable (possibly the 2013 verion)?

[b]Duplicates of the 32 bit files[/b]: I downloaded them from your site and absentmindedly chose the 32 bit portable version and then later went back and selected the 64 bit version and both were saved with the same name and the same file size. I installed the 32bit version. That was about five days ago. This may have led to the DLL error. I went back today and downloaded the the correct 64 bit version.

So all of those things are cleared from my earlier list.

This has raised some new problems but I'll post them in a new posting.

I did that with the "de" in the url and with the "en" too (http[i]:[/i]//www[i].[/i]spamihilator.com/[b]de[/b]/download#/portable64bit). And with me, the 32-bit download delivers the 32-bit zip-archive, and the 64-bit download provides the correct 64-bit files. Can you show, how you came to the wrong file? Perhaps this is already the error cause?

I have installed Spamihilator Portable (latest version) on Windows 8.1 (64bit) when I attempt to start Spamihilator I get the following error:
[code]The program can't start because MSVCP120.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.[/code]
How do I fix this? It seems that if Spamihilator needs this DLL then it should be packaged with the application?
Also I noticed that while you have both a 64bit and a 32bit version of the portable installer both have the same file name "Spamihilator-win32-1.6.0-portable". Is it really a 64bit application?
Also while I've read the [b]How To View the Forum In English [/b]but I cannot find anything that looks like "Persönlicher Bereich". Can you point me to how to do this? Given when I signed up I selected English is it not possible to view the Forum prompts in English?
