Cross-Protocolling Setup
Spamihilator is a local proxy server, so you have to change the account settings of your e-mail client in order to tell the program filter your mails.
Normally, this is done by the Setup Wizard. If this wizard should fail for any reason you will have to do the configuration manually.

How to configure your e-mail client manually (without Cross-Protocolling)
If you have understood the procedure you can easily configure your accounts for Cross-Protocolling. Create a new account in your e-mail client and enter the settings in the following format:
POP3 server: localhost
User name: YourImapServer&YourUserName&143
If you want to create an IMAP-to-POP3 Cross-Protocolling account you have to enter the settings in the following format:
IMAP server: localhost
User name: YourPOP3Server&YourUserName&110
Receive mails from AOL accounts* with Spamihilator
Spamihilator is able to check IMAP acounts since version 0.9.9. So, you can receive e-mails from your AOL accounts with a simple e-mail client. Therefor you have to do the following steps.
Create a new IMAP account and enter the settings in the following format (see also help files):
IMAP server: localhost
User name: imap.aol.com&YourUserName
If your e-mail client doesn’t support IMAP you can also receive e-mails from your AOL accounts by POP3. Spamihilator will automatically translate the commands. In order to do that, create a new POP3 account and enter the settings in the following format:
POP3 server: localhost
User name: imap.aol.com&YourUserName&143
* This section can be applied to all Internet Service Providers that offer e-mail accounts with IMAP access.
